New ReviewerI clicked on friendship in facebook dating and said hello to a man called Ariel.
On monday 15th January 2024 Ariel sent me axreply in facebook dating friendship. He said hi we matched.
Gave his mobile telephone number of 0743315****.
On wed 17th Januaey 2024 I sent him a message using his mobile number he had used to send me his message. In it I said I could ring him at the weekend.
He then rang me on my mobile from his mobile number above, and said his name, said he was from facebook and asked if I coyld hear his voice, I said yes.
He said could I talk now, I said I was busy makibgxa late breakfast, and I would ring him after 5.30pm tonight wed 17th Jan 2024.
He used words like oh bless you and sweetie He had what sounded like a Ukrainian or Russion accent or could be polish?
I then decided to block his mobile number and delete my dating profile frim Facebook dating.
I have tried reporting this to Facebook, but found Metacom/help TOTALLY USELESS.
I WILL BE DELETING MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT TOTALLY AND WONT BE COMING BACK IF NORHING IS DONE ABOUT IT IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THERE HAS GOT TO BE MORE DONE ON FACEBOOK TO KEEP WOMEN SAFE.
Yours very disappounted and let down by what seems to be a slapdash nit interested indifferent attitude to facebook users.
User's recommendation: Have a goid look on the internet before dating on facebook, as their aporoach to security, financially and personal safety is totally inadequate, as facebook and metacam are not interested in the exoerience users get.
Preferred solution: Follow up action from Meta.com and facebook re the scammer on facebook friendship and progress provided by email to me on the scammer..
